castyi collects as little as possible. This page explains exactly what is stored, where it lives, and how to have it deleted.

What we collect
Account email — only if you choose to sign in. Your hexagram history and any question you choose to save. Basic technical logs (page, country, device type) if analytics is enabled.
We do not collect payment card numbers. Card data goes directly to our payment provider, Polar, which acts as merchant of record.
What stays on your device
If you continue without an account, your hexagram history, streak and collection progress are stored only in your browser’s local storage on your own device. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings.
Why we use it
To deliver the reading you asked for, to keep your history available on this device or across devices if you sign in, to process payments and issue receipts, and to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Third parties we rely on
Polar (payments, tax and invoicing), our hosting provider (page delivery), and — if enabled — Google Analytics (aggregated traffic statistics) and our authentication provider (social sign-in). Each processes data only to perform its function.
Analytics is aggregated and does not identify you. You can block it with any standard tracker blocker; the site works identically without it.
How long we keep it
Saved readings and account data are kept until you ask us to delete them. Payment records are kept for the period tax law requires. Server logs are rotated and discarded on a short cycle.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it. Write to hello@castyi.com and we will action the request.
Under GDPR you also have the rights of access, portability, restriction and objection. Under CCPA/CPRA: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Cookies
Essential storage keeps your session and local history. Analytics cookies, if enabled, measure traffic only. No advertising cookies are set.
Age
The service is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note the new date at the top of this page.
